Our children's ministries need servants in many areas as we move into the new school year.  Most positions do not require teaching or advance preparation.  Please see the ministry leader listed or contact the church office if you can help.

Nursery: volunteers are needed to in the toddler and infant rooms during the 11am service.  Several current workers need a break as they will be taking maternity leave in the upcoming months.  Contact Gretchen Benson or sign up at the Information Station to fill an opening.

Sunday School: a helper is needed for 1st-2nd grade.  Contact Amy Livingston.

Kids Live 11am:  The current schedule has a monthly rotation with each volunteer, couple or team serving for one month three times each year.  Curriculum is provided, but preparation is necessary.  Contact Amy Livingston for details and to volunteer.  A sign up sheet is available at the Information Station.

AWANA: 

Nursery:  servants are needed to care for AWANA staff children under age three who are too young to participate in the Cubbies program.  We have about 3-5 children weekly, Wed., 6:30-8pm.  Contact Greg Livingston.

MOPS/MOPPETS:  babysitters are needed to play with the children.  Servants who can commit to the entire MOPS year are needed, but those who can help out just once a month or occassionally are also welcomed.  MOPS meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month, 9-11 am, throughout the school year.  Contact Gretchen Benson or Steve Schwartz.

Sound tech team: sound team techs are needed for 9am and 11am Sunday worship and to assist with special events.  Comfort with electronic equipment, attention to detail, a good ear, and the ability to trouble shoot problems is needed.  Training is provided.  Contact Curtis Carr or Pastor Mark Hinman.

Connect Group Hosts and Leaders: Contact the church office if you would be willing to host a small group in your home or lead a small group at the church.

Men's Bible study leader: a leader or leadership team is needed to resume the monthly Saturday morning men's fellowship and study group.  Contact the church office or one of the pastors to discuss details.

Kids Live 9am: A team of volunteers is needed to provide a children's lesson during the 2nd half (sermon) of the 9 am Sunday service.  Curriculum is provided, but preparation is necessary. Contact Amy Livingston for details and to volunteer.  Currently we are not offering children's programming for the small group of youngsters who attend the 9am service due to a lack of volunteers

Media team: additional computer operators are needed for the 9am and 11am Sunday worship services.  Knowledge of Windows, comfort with electronic equipment and the ability to pay close attention to what is happening in the service is required.  Knowledge of Power Point is helpful.  Training is provided.  Contact Nancy Olejniczak or Pastor Mark Hinman.

Sanctuary choir: vocalists who wish to use their voice to help lead worship at the 9am Traditional Hour of Worship are welcome to attend Wednesday night rehearsals at 6:45 pm.  Contact Pastor Mark Hinman.  This ministry takes a break for the summer months and will resumes September 7.

Orchestra: instrumentalists are invited to join the orchestra which is part of the 9am Traditional Hour of Worship leadership team.  Contact Pastor Mark Hinman to discuss skill level requirements.

Praise and Worship Leaders: worship-minded vocalists and band members are needed for the 11am Sunday Praise and Worship service.  Musical ability combined with a team-spirit and a desire to lead the congregration into a deeper worship experience is needed.  Contact Pastor Mark Hinman to discuss skill level and rehearsal requirements.
