MOPS
Registration forms for moms and children are attached below. Please scroll down, click on the links MOPS Registration and MOPPET Registration to open the forms, and print them. Complete both forms (4 pages total) and drop them off at the church office or bring them with you to the first MOPS meeting on Sept. 15.
MOPS stands for "mothers of preschoolers" - but don't let that confuse you! MOPS is about meeting the needs of moms - urban, suburban, rural, stay-at-home, working, teen, adoptive, special-needs, single and married moms and is for every mom, from conception through kindergarten.
It's being moms that brings us together - and wanting to be the very best moms we can be. The early years of being a mom are just as foundational to you as they are to your baby, and they're filled with unique needs that other moms instinctively understand.
At Hillcrest MOPS meets the first and third Thursday of every month 9:30-11:30 a.m. Sept.-May in the church's North Room. Childcare is provided. Cost is $3 per meeting for dues with a one-tme $23.95 MOPS International registration fee due after the 3rd meeting (financial assistance is available). MOPS meetings include guest speakers, discussion time and creative activities.
Annual activities, in addition to regular meetings, include a make-over party, hayride, Christmas brunch, retreat, toy exchange, MOPS in the park play dates.
