Support Alaska Missions Team

Our Alaska Summer Mission Team will be serving a spaghetti dinner on Saturday, May 6 from 4:30-7 pm. Come enjoy a complete pasta dinner and get to know the team members as they serve you at your table. Donations will be accepted to support their August 11-20 trip to serve at Camp Li-Wa in Fairbanks, Alaska. Take-out meals will be available.

Serving Central

God gives us a desire to serve others with our gifts and talents, and we are promised great reward for partnering with Christ to carry out His kingdom work and are used to channel His grace to others. If you’re not connected to a ministry at Hillcrest, we encourage you to visit “Serving Central” in the lobby or contact the church office to explore how you can serve while developing friendships and deeper connections with your Hillcrest family.

Newcomer Lunch

If you’re new (or newer) to attending Hillcrest, you’re invited to a Newcomer Lunch on Sunday, Apr. 30 following the 11 am service. We’ll provide the meal plus an opportunity to meet some of our pastors and leaders, learn more about Hillcrest, and ask questions. Contact the church office or sign up at the Information Station to let us know you’re coming.

Connect & Craft

Ladies are invited to bring their projects to Ladies’ Craft Day on Saturday, Apr. 22 from 9 am-4 pm. Connect with others while your work on a project you enjoy. Bring your own project materials, lunch, and a snack to share. Come for the day or a few hours as your schedule allows.

Youth Events

Outbound Youth is back from spring break on Sunday, Apr. 16 at 6:30 pm at the Family Center continuing their series from “Darkroom Faith” exploring questions about religion. A special “guys only” Video Gaming night is Friday, Apr. 21 at 5 pm featuring dinner, gaming, and a devotional Students in grades 6-12 are invited.

Easter Sunday

Celebrate the risen Savior at Hillcrest on Easter Sunday. We’ll follow our regular schedule with Traditional Worship at 8:45 am and Contemporary Worship at 11 am. Hillcrest University classes and Discovery Town will meet at 10 am, but the Discovery Town kids will help us lead worship at 11 am and will remain in the service with their families.

Spring Work Day

It’s time to transition our buildings and grounds from winter to spring. Our trustees will be leading teams to wash windows, clean up limbs and leaves from the lawn, and other chores. Visit the display in the lobby to sign up for a team then come for breakfast on Saturday, April 15 at 8:30 am, work will get started at 9 am. Partner up with someone you don’t know yet and get acquainted while you serve!

New Seating Coming

Renovation to our Sanctuary/Auditorium begins in March with fresh paint, stone, carpet, and 230 comfortable new chairs, all planned to be completed by the end of summer. Gifts to date cover over half of the 230 seats needed. You can help provide a place for future generations of worshippers by donating $75 per chair. Movie Night for Outbound

Outbound Youth (grades -12) is headed to Lakewood Cinema 8 on Sunday, April 2, to see the new film His Only Son which recounts the story of Abraham and Sarah and God’s command to sacrifice their son. Meet at the Cinema at 6:15 pm, or meet at the church at 6 pm if you need a ride.
