Ladies Bible Study Resumes

Women of all ages are invited to gain practical insights from the Psalms when the Ladies Bible Study resumes on Tuesday, April 2 at 10 am. Kathy Osgood leads “Lyrics of Life” by Lisa Harper which focuses on how our emotions affect our relationship with God. The group will continue to meet weekly.

Worship on Easter Sunday

We will worship together at our usual times at 8:45 am and 11 am on Easter Sunday, March 31, as we celebrate the risen Lord. Both services will include a time of baptism with believers sharing their faith in Jesus. Hillcrest University classes for adults, youth, and preschool will meet as usual at 10 am. Discovery Town kids will meet at the Family Center at 10 am, then will participate in the 11 am service with their families after singing.

Remember on Good Friday

In partnership with Lakewood Baptist Church, Hillcrest hosts “Good Friday: an Evening of Worship at the Cross,” on Friday, March 29, at 7 pm, in-person and livestream. This solemn service will include extended Scripture readings, poignant preaching, communion, and powerful songs of remembrance performed by a combined choir and orchestra. This will be a time to reflect on the sacrifice of the cross and prepare our hearts for the joy hope of Easter Sunday.

SALT for Older Adults

Hillcrest’s SALT ministry (Serving as Living Testimonies) provides activities for older adults to stay connected with one another with two events for march. Join the group for dinner at Davidson’s on March 12 at 5 pm–meet at the restaurant and order from the menu. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on March 15 at 5 pm at the church at a Potluck Supper.
