What to Expect

Attending a new church for the first time can be intimidating. We understand and aim to make you feel welcome the minute you arrive! As you enter, you will meet a member of our Hospitality Team who can help you find exactly what you are looking for. We will also provide you with a little information here so you know what to expect when you arrive.

Where do we meet?

Our campus is located at 40 Hallock Street in Jamestown, NY. We have two buildings on campus, the main building and our Family Center.

What is a service like?

Every Sunday morning is filled with an opportunity to lift up the name of Jesus through prayer, singing, communion, and biblical teaching by one of our pastors. If your music preference is traditional hymns, our 8:45 am service might be right up your alley; but if you enjoy a more contemporary style of worship, then our 11 am service is where it is at. We suggest arriving about 10 minutes prior to the service time. Services usually last about an hour.

What should I wear?

You’ll see it all here–people in their “Sunday best” as well as others in jeans, shorts…you name it.  What’s important is making progress on your spiritual journey on the inside, not how you look on the outside.

What should I do when I arrive?

When you enter through the main parking lot doors you can expect to be greeted by one of our hospitality team members. They will be happy to answer questions, provide you with directions, or guide you where you need to go…whether to the sanctuary, a classroom, or to one of our kids’ ministries.

What about my kids?

Age-appropriate nursery care is available during the 11 am service for infants through age 4. For our children in grades K-5th our Discovery Town program is held at the Family Center.

What about my teens?

Our Outbound Youth ministry is for teens grades 6-12 and meets for a Sunday class in the main building at 10vam. We encourage all students in this age group to join their family in the sanctuary for either the 8:45 or 11am service.
