A homemade chicken and biscuit dinner is planned for our next Quarterly Gathering on Sunday, February 4 at 5:30 pm. Desserts will be provided by entrants in our Dessert Bake Off Contest. Remember When…

Older adults (empty-nesters and beyond) will share memories at a SALT potluck supper and activity evening on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 5 pm. Bring a dish to pass–something popular in the ’50s, ’60s, or ’70s, your Bible, and recollections from yester-year (optional). Sound like fun? If you didn’t have a chance to sign up, call us at the church office and we’ll put your name on the list so that the team knows how to set up.

Pray with UNIFIED

Pastor Ben invites the church family to join in 21 Days of Prayer (Jan. 14-Feb. 4) for the future of our UNIFIED Young Adult Ministry at Hillcrest and for young adults in the Jamestown area. An in-person prayer gathering will take place on Sunday, January 14, at 6:30 pm at the Family Center. All our welcome. Sign up at the Information Station or call the church office to receive daily prayer updates via text to pray on your own.

21 Days of Global Prayer

Hillcrest is joining dozens of area churches in starting 2024 with “21 Days of Prayer Global Event.” Area pastors and ministry leaders collaborated to write a special daily devotional and prayer guide which are available in the church lobby (or call the office). Start the year in prayer.

Celebrate Christmas Eve

You’re invited to join us on Christmas Eve to celebrate the birth of Jesus. We’ll start the morning at 8:45 am with a Traditional Worship Hour. At 11 am our Family Service the story of Christmas will come to life through and for children. At 5 pm and 7 pm we will present the musical “Everlasting Light” at our two Candlelight Services. Share the Joy of Christmas

The recipients of this year’s Christmas giving project will be local law enforcement officers and first responders, many of whom face discouragement, stress, danger, threats, and opposition every day at work. Our goal is to provide an uplifting “Blessing Bag” to as many officers and first responders as possible.
