Hillcrest offers two Sunday morning service options which allow worshippers to connect with God in a real and personal way. Both services include an inspiring message from one of our pastors or a guest speaker, prayer, music, media clips and reading from Scripture. While the message is the same at both services, other elements differ to match the preferences of those who choose to worship in a traditional or in a contemporary setting.
Traditional Hour of Worship–Join us at 8:45 am Sundays, in-person or live stream on Facebook LIVE or YouTube for an inspiring hour of worship led by our orchestra and choir. Congregational music is selected from our hymn book with includes classic hymns of the church and beloved gospel songs. Nursery care is provided for infants, toddler and preschool-age children.* (Nursery care is currently not available due to COVID pandemic concerns).
Contemporary Praise and Worship Hour–The Hillcrest Worship Band leads this hour-long service at 11 am, in-person and via live stream on Facebook LIVE and YouTube, with upbeat praise and worship. Discovery Town is offered during this service for children in kindergarten to fifth grade. Nursery care is provided for infants, toddlers and preschoolers*. (The schedules for Discovery Town and nursery care has been modified due to COVID concerns. Check the home page for updates). An additional Contemporary Service is livestreamed at 7 pm.
Communion is usually observed on the first Sunday of each month.
Personal Hearing Assistance Packs are available at the Tech Booth in the rear of the auditorium for those who struggle to hear what is being said or sung during the services. Each Hearing Pack has a high-quality ear bud and a volume control which the user can adjust as needed. Simply pick up a pack at the Tech Booth before the service and return it as you leave.
