Hillcrest Is a Body

We’re kicking off a brand-new 4-week series today, “We Are Hillcrest,” and it starts with a powerful reminder: this church isn’t a crowd… it’s a body. Each of us has a God-given role, and every part matters. Pastor Mark is opening the series by helping us see how we’re designed to live connected, contributing, and growing together as the Body of Christ. You’re not here by accident—you belong, and you have a part to play. Let’s lean in and discover…

What Happens When You Die

We’re so glad you’re joining in our celebration of the greatest news in history—Jesus is alive! Today we conclude our Why the Cross? series with Part 4: “What Happens When You Die” from 1 Corinthians 15, as Pastor Mark brings a clear and compelling message: the resurrection isn’t just something to believe—it changes everything about your life right now and forever.

You Were Born for This

Why Are You Here? We all ask it at some point: Why am I here? What difference does my life make? This morning Pastor Mark continues our fall Anchored series with the message, You Were Born for This. Discover how God’s grace not only saves us but also gives our lives eternal meaning—and how the everyday faithfulness, service, and witness of God’s people become part of His masterpiece. Don’t drift… step into your purpose!

Remembering: Focus on Communion

In his final days on earth Jesus reinterpreted the meaning of the Passover meal and instructed his followers to “Do this in remembrance of me.” (Luke 22:19) This morning Pastor Paul Osborn leads us in an extended time of reflecting on and responding to Jesus’ command to observe the Lord’s Supper in his message “Remembering.”

God’s Way for God’s Work

Pastor Mark concludes our Real Church series with the “God’s Way for God’s Work” from 1 Corinthians 16. We’ll get an update from our ministry partners at Options Care Center and will rejoice in song as we continue our Harvest Weekend celebration.

What If?

Pastor Mark concludes our Real Church series today with the message “What If?” with words of hope about real life change from 1 Corinthians 15. We will also recognize the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church.

Real Church

We continue to learn about “Real Church” in our Sunday morning study of 1 Corinthians. In Part 8 of the series Pastor Mark focuses on spiritual gifts in his message from chapters 12 & 14. We will also observe communion during the service; please prepare some juice and a cracker or bread to participate at home.

Order in the House

Welcome to Hillcrest. As we continue our Real Church series in 1 Corinthians, today we focus on “Order in the House,” a look at how we worship, as Pastor Jeff leads us through 1 Corinthians 14:26-40

Disqualified!

Are you running to win the prize or will you be disqualified? Pastor Mark’s message “Disqualified!” focuses on 1 Corinthians 9:24–10:22 in Part 6 of our Real Church series. We’ll also get an update from our ministry partner Deb Guzman serving in Thailand. Thanks for worshiping with us today.

Freeing Your Freedom

Welcome to worship at Hillcrest. Join us in worshipping our Lord and celebrating his love. Pastor Jeff continues our Real Church series with a Biblical perspective on freedom and liberty from 1 Corinthians 8 & 10.

Sex, Singles, Marriage & Divorce

Our Real Church series continues today with Part 4: Sex, Singles, Marriage & Divorce from 1 Corinthians 6 & 7. Pastor Mark approaches these topics with sensitivity while holding true to Biblical teaching. We will observe communion later in the serve; please prepare your bread or cracker and juice to participate with us.

The Wrong Way to Right Wrongs

Is your light dull, dim, soft white, bright white, daylight? Like light bulbs the intensity of our light in the world can vary. Today Pastor Jeff continues the Real Church series with “The Wrong Way to Right Wrongs” from 1 Corinthians 5-6, and we’ll learn how to brighten the light of Hillcrest in our community.
