Hand Me Another Brick

Fixing What’s Broken Inside

Today we continue our Hand Me Another Brick journey through Nehemiah as Pastor Mark shares the message, “Fixing What’s Broken Inside.” We also have the joy of celebrating with several men, women, boys, and girls who are taking the step of following Jesus in believers’ baptism! Have your Bibles open to Nehemiah 5 and be ready to follow along.

Our God Will Fight for Us

Opposition is inevitable, but God’s people are never left to face it alone. In Nehemiah 4, we see that prayer is our dependence on God, our defense against the enemy, and our faithful duty in every battle. Today Pastor Ben will help us explore how God works powerfully through our weakness, reminding us that victory doesn’t come from our own strength but from trusting God who fights for his people.

That project, and its place in God’s larger story of redemption, has more to say to us today than we might realize. Pastor Steve explores that meaning to us in today’s message “Beyond the Wall.”

Leading the Way on our Knees

Today Pastor Mark resumes our summer series, Hand Me Another Brick, a chapter-by-chapter journey through Nehemiah. Though written over 2,400 years ago, this ancient book has a timely message for our lives today. This morning’s message, “Leading the Way on Our Knees,” reminds us that God does His greatest work through people who depend on Him in prayer.

Rise Up, Rebuild, Restore

Today’s message focuses upon Nehemiah 2:11-20. John DeLancey will be sharing another “pictorial message” offering much of the background and context of the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem by Nehemiah. The message is entitled, “Rise Up, Rebuild, Restore.” The text finds Nehemiah now in Jerusalem, carefully inspecting the collapsed walls of the city. John serves as the Director of Biblical Israel Ministries & Tours.

When God Gives You a Burden

We’re glad you’re here as we launch our new summer series, Hand Me Another Brick, a verse-by-verse journey through the book of Nehemiah. Today Pastor Mark begins with the message, “When God Gives You a Burden.” Before God rebuilt Jerusalem’s walls, He first stirred the heart of one man. We’ll discover how God still calls ordinary people to make an extraordinary difference when they begin to care about what He cares about. Whether you’re facing a personal challenge or sensing…
