Don’t Believe Everything You Hear

With all the misinformation that gets reported as news or fact, we can become cynical and begin to wonder how we can know if anything is true. Pastor Mark has titled today’s message “Don’t Believe Everything You Hear,” Part 5 of our Forward series. Have your Bibles open to Acts 17. An outline is in today’s bulletin which can be downloaded from the church webpage.

Personal Mission Field

This week in Forward part 4 Jim Quattrone leads us in considering our personal faith journeys as we travel with Paul on his second missionary journey. Have your Bibles open to Acts 16 in preparation for departure. Download today’s bulletin from hillcrestjamestown.com to follow along with the message outline. A special handout “Personal Mission Field” which Jim will refer to at the end of his message is also available on the website.

Clearing the Fog of Confusion, Controversy & Conflict

Whether it’s the evening news or social media, it’s easy to see that our world is filled with controversy and confusion. The apostle Paul faced a similar situation in the days of the early church. In Forward Part 3, we’ll study Acts 15 with Pastor Mark through his message “Clearing the Fog of Confusion, Controversy & Conflict.” Today’s bulletin which includes the sermon outline can be viewed or downloaded at hillcrestjamestown.com.

Moving Forward When Life Says, “Back Up“

Have your Bibles open to Acts 13 and be ready for Part 2 of Forward in a New Year. Pastor Mark will help us follow Paul as begins his missionary travels and guides us in finding practical application for our own lives in “Moving Forward When Life Says, “Back Up!”

Forward: Encouragement for Life from the Journeys of Paul

We return to the book of Acts today beginning a new series “Forward: Encouragement for Life from the Journeys of Paul.” Pastor Mark’s message “How to Move Forward with Confidence” provides practical instruction for the start of a new year. We will observe communion today, so please have some juice and a cracker ready. Today’s bulletin can be viewed or downloaded from the church webpage.
