Betrayed, Abandoned & Denied

Part 13 in our Rise series in the Gospel of Mark has brought us to some of the final events before Jesus’ death on a cross. But why did people want Jesus dead? And why would one of his own chosen disciples betray Him, another deny Him, and all of them abandon Him? The events leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion bring into stark relief human sinfulness and the amazing love of God.
